NoCo Speed Networking was back this last week – we held an AMAZING event at I-25 and US-34 at the wonderful BlueMountain Self Storage facility. Almost 50 of us signed up to break the COVID-19 spell and get back to business networking in a socially responsible and distanced manner!
We did things a little differently, such as moving after our ’rounds’ to our new tables one ‘number’ at a time, but it was a minor inconvenience to get back to business networking. We had some great door prizes and Greg was robbed when his card was drawn and then we re-drew despite protestations, so that Randy Isaac took home a bottle of Tower-56 craft spirits courtesy of June’s Team Real Estate. Kelly from Exodus Moving and Storage won a bottle of champagne given away by our hosts (BlueMountain) and John Vnuk took home the door prize from Computer Security Solutions, a PC Tuneup valued at $79.
We’re so grateful to BlueMountain Self Storage for hosting us this last event and we’re looking forward to our next event in July at Brookside Gardens Event Center, just east of Berthoud, Colorado.
Now, to our biggest news…
Those of you who came last week heard that we have some amazing and exciting news – and that is, we have a NEW NAME!!
From this point forward, we’ll be known as ‘TableTop Networking‘!!
The name change will be a gradual phase-in over the coming months and reflects the exciting development that we are to have more chapters of our fun networking event. We’re losing one of our regular Table Captains – Todd Kumro as he moves to the Western Slopes and he is taking our fun and fast-paced form of business networking with him to start a TableTop Networking Chapter based out of Fruita, Colorado. Woohoo!! Chapter #2 is going to be up and running before you know it…
We’re also really hopeful to get our Denver-North chapter up and running in the coming weeks and we have an eye on Wellington and South Wyoming as well… 😀
Exciting times are ahead…
