We are the Scamehorns. Our Autistic son, Dexter, pulled our family into theatre and we won’t go back. He has grown so much in the last few years that he has been acting. His confidence grows with every show he does and we knew we had to keep him in theatre.
We want to have a place that is safe and comfortable for all our students and the community. Erika has an extensive background in dance and fitness and is excited to bring this aspect to the Unitiive Performing Arts School program.
We can’t wait to see you on stage!
The Cunninghams
We are the Cunningham family. We have a love for theater for about 30 years. Our family enjoys watching and preforming in plays, and looks forward to continuing this in our new theatre company. Theatre has been more important in recent times, our family has been challenged with Autism. Acting has allowed a level of confidence that previously has not been there.
Our local theater has brought that out in our children, and it has been imperative to keep that alive. Heidi has developed strong connections in the theater community, and looks forward to give another option to our community.
This theater will make that a stronger reality, and something we can help train our kids in as well.
